--oh huh I guess I am writing this sad sad unrequited pining E/R fic after all? I don't know if I can ever post it though, it is basically an exercise in producing the purplest prose I possibly can and that is pretty damn purple and also completely unironic. my feels

but anyway I got through half the hard part! now there is just the other half of the hard part, and then imagined sex. I write a lot of imagined sex, come to think of it.

The awesome thing about R is that he pines in the PURPLEST PROSE IMAGINABLE and it is absolutely canon.

It's so purple and perfect and I looooove it. I don't even like pining usually! But somehow when Victor Hugo writes it I am all on board. I'm actually considering rereading the whole book again, both to get clearer ideas of the characters and also just for the prose.

Oh wow, that is dedication. I never managed more than once myself although I've gone back to read certain parts of it (and not actually since high school).
