i remain HIGHLY upset and angry about the magicians but also, like...i was in comics fandom, i watched doctor who, i know from getting fucked around by shitty creators. this is probably the worst instance yet, but still, it was good training. i will die angry but what else is new.

(if anyone reading this cared about the magicians and would like a show where queer people 1.) are numerous 2.) get happy endings (after much tribulation), and also it's an extraordinarily good show, i highly recommend black sails, The Only Show That Has Never Betrayed Me. it doesn't do the extremely revolutionary thing i thought the magicians was gonna do but on its own terms, it's perfect. hmu for content warnings for s1 if you want.) (legends of tomorrow has also never betrayed me but it is EXTREMELY different tonally and doesn't fill the same void.)

anyway i handle these things by putting on more lipstick. i have a plan to wear wacky lipstick colors to class the last week of school, for my own amusement and hopefully the students', so i'm stocking up on blues, greens, silver, and particularly ludicrous pinks.
