(no subject)

do you ever get to the point where you finish a draft of a story, and you feel very proud and then you reread it and realize it will be literally twice as much work to fix as it was to write? and then you want to drink a lot? i need a different hobby, is what i'm saying here.

(i wouldn't say no to a beta, though. in case i decide to tackle it after all. it's ~3300 words, Enjolras/Grantaire with sad imaginary sex, and also it started as one story and turned into another halfway through. i hate when that happens.)
