I am taking a census (via the little exclamation marks in Itunes) of music that is vanished with the dead hard drive, and it is SO DEPRESSING. I made it halfway through H before I had to stop out of sadness. So far we have--among other things--a huge collection of early music, all my Putumayo and Rough Guide albums(I have A LOT of them), all my awesome Christmas music(most of it not too easy to find), everything by Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer(which confuses me because I'm pretty sure I BOUGHT that), and a WHOLE lot more stuff, some of which will be simple but tedious to replace, some of which may be gone forever. The Christmas music collection, for instance, is virtually all traditional and/or classical and/or early stuff, mostly assembled through other people's yearly posts of Christmas music. Also all my classical, almost, was from posts on lunatunes and all the links are probably dead now.

Our tastes in christmas music sound similar. I might be able to hook you up there.

How depressing! Post a list and maybe the might of the flist/circle can help!

I have a bunch of Putumayo and some Rough Guide stuff -- if you make a list I can see what I have! And I might have some of the other stuff as well.

I don't have much Christmas music, but you're welcome to any of it. My World Pop, too. Would you like a list?
