i just saw a play and i feel like it is relevant to MANY people's interests here, so: if you would like to watch a witty tragic romance between shakespeare and marlowe, in the form of an intense two-man play that i'd give a B+ (extremely solid, moments of greatness, one terrible misstep), it's called Born With Teeth and a film of it will be available for rental here (or thereabouts) in june after it closes. i recommend it! despite the misstep! it was pretty much everything i wanted from the premise, including the kissing parts.

*beams* I'm glad you recalled that hyperfixation, because you're totally correct that I will pay money to see this play, Terrible Misstep and all.

I am soliciting people to watch it with me because I am curious, but not curious enough to go in there alone.

I enjoyed it, and it made me want to reread my favorite Kit/Will stories. I really didn't get the whole "French whore" bit, and the ending was, even given the rest of the story, a bit O.o, but overall I am very glad I watched it, and got [personal profile] buggery to join me in my viewing.

Yeah, the last bit was, well, a thing that happened. But the rest of it was lovely.
