so, the hostel is...a hostel. the pillows are crunchy and i forgot to bring flip-flops for the shower, so i probably have a horrible fungus now. but i slept under a roof in a locked room for thirty bucks, so i feel like i got a reasonable bargain. i also forgot to bring a padlock, so i'm kind of operating on the honor system as far as my seven roommates not stealing my shit goes. well, and carrying around my laptop and ipod so if they do steal shit, i will only be out some dirty underpants. also the hostel had free breakfast, which ROCKS, even if you do have to wash your own dishes.

i kind of massively overextended myself yesterday--i had an AMAZING time, i just think i needed to get out of there about four hours earlier than i did. OH WELL. today i am relaxing with frand and taking aleve.

tomorrow night i will post my vid and MANY MANY recs. omg, you guys, i am still reeling from the amazingness of vividcon. SO MANY VIDS. so many FABULOUS people. i am too exhausted to say individual hi to everyone i met, but you all rock and made my weekend amazing. special credit goes to my roommate ladysorka for putting up with my snoring and awkwardness.

Yeah, I was pretty much done in at the point that I left, so I can empathize. It was really fun to hang out with you all day and I admire how adventurous you were in seeking out Things On Sticks To Eat.
