so I'm rewatching Homicide, and it is an endless parade of delight just as I expected, but oh my god some of this stuff is incredibly painful in retrospect. Mostly Bayliss-related--I'm currently on "Cradle to Grave" and there's this Bayliss-Pembleton car conversation that is just agonizing on multiple levels--but several Lewis moments too. Just...aaauuughhh, such sad horrible patiently developed arcs :(

Also I'm amazed how much I forgot. ALSO I'm getting increasingly annoyed with something that I can't believe I never noticed before, and it's about sexism and I really don't feel like complaining/explaining just at the moment but: sigh.

Mostly, however: parade of delight. Their perfect faces, just, how did I go so long without them back in my life??
