I'm planning what DVDs to bring with me to New York, since it will be Too Cold to go out at night, but of course DVDs and their cases are heavy so I can only take a few, and anyway what I ended up doing was sitting down in front of the DVD shelf and reading the episode summaries on the back of all my Homicide box sets, one after the other, and now I really really want to watch the entire show over again from the start. Right now. Why is this not an option in my life?? --oh wow, did y'all know you can get the entire series on Amazon for $100? That is a sweet deal. I'm only missing seasons six and seven, and I don't even want seven, so this deal is not applicable to me. But it's still pretty impressive; that's less than $17 per non-terrible season.

Maybe I have time to watch just one. But how can I possibly choose?
