I'm watching Teen Wolf, because apparently I hate myself? I can already tell it's going to make me so angry, and in fact is already doing that. But it's going to get even worse. But peer pressure :( Also I don't think I'm interested in any of the things the fandom is interested in (ie, Derek). A terrible life choice all round, really.

I'm interested in what makes you angry, if you care to share. I have no fannish protectiveness of this show, I don't think. I'm in this fandom purely for Stiles, with the ladies second, and Jackson & Danny behind as erotic interests for slash pairing purposes (I'm in it for the porn and not ashamed of it, as is my wont), and find myself utterly uninterested in Derek too.

Primarily the way it has no use for women, that would be the main thing. I'm also annoyed that fandom is throwing it a huge screaming worshipful parade for having a gay character who barely exists and almost all of whose scenes are about being gay. But mostly the sexism.
