Okay, I've been searching for hours and I can't find it, so here is a long shot: a couple years ago, when I first went looking for Newsies fic, I found a story where Jack and David stay together for like 70 years, and they get involved in the gay rights movement and see Stonewall and etc. I don't remember what it was called, or who it was by, or even if it was actually any good. (It may have been! Or maybe not!) But I would really like to read it again, so if any of y'all happen to know where I might find it I would be eternally grateful.

And now I think I need sleep. I only got four hours last night because of the morning flight, but tomorrow I need to go back to Getting Shit Done and sleep would help.

I wish I knew which one you were talking about, but I find it hilarious that someone else just PMed me on FF.net asking if one of my ollllllllld written-by-12-year-old-me self-insert id fics was still online anymore. So you're not the only one digging through nostalgia! I was in the self-insert Mary Sue half of fandom, not the slash half, so I'm probably not going to be all that useful on your actual searches, though.
