bought more icon space, still too lazy to find icons
I'm rewatching Legend of the Seeker to make a Cara vid--nothing big and epic for me to angst over like the Dead Like Me vid (which is still in progress, but ugh, NEVER AGAIN a vid about the three most main characters in a thirty-episode show, I have like two thousand clips to pull). This one is just for fun, and doesn't involve nearly as much source, which is why it's fun. But anyway, I'm rewatching "Broken" right now (after skipping ahead to rewatch the one where Cara and Kahlan hug and hold hands), and I'm falling in love with this OT3 all over again.
I just feel like all three of them falling in love and being in a relationship would solve a lot of the show's problems! It's a sadly true criticism of this show that Richard is pretty boring; there just isn't very much to him, and in the second season he loses a lot of the doofy charm that partly made up for his otherwise flatness in season one. But Cara makes him interesting! At least in the first half of S2 she does; I can't quite remember if their relationship stays quite as fascinating after the final plot arc starts ramping up. I seem to recall that everything got less interesting at that point.
But anyway, I am way into their weird relationship, and OF COURSE Cara/Kahlan is beautiful and true and just as deliciously weird, and I feel like Cara's involvement would strengthen the parts of Richard/Kahlan I like and reduce the parts I don't. And yet there's hardly any OT3 fic, I don't understand this at all. I don't know if there are any OT3 vids (besides the one I'm about to make, which doesn't quite count). If there are, someone should definitely link me.
