some_stars | (no subject)

I'm watching Farscape with my mom! I was going to do this a couple months ago, when we finished Dead Like Me, but then I started working and everything went crazy. I'm actually more busy now than I was for the first month of this job, but we really really wanted to watch some TV last night, and I have it on DVD, unlike most of the shows I want to show her. Although this turned out to be irrelevant because our awful, awful TV ruined the sound--it always does this but to varying degrees depending on the specific DVDs involved; the Farscape DVDs are the worst yet and the dialogue in any scene with significant music or loud sound effects is completely inaudible. So we have to watch it on my computer anyway.

We will be going very slowly due to me being busy most nights (and then eventually me moving out) and we're not going to get to the first really good episodes for like two weeks. But I am pretty excited about rewatching it--I've actually never watched it a second time, because I never finished season four due to emotion fatigue. So watching everyone evolve and grow again should be pretty awesome. I did skip ahead and watch "Out of Their Minds," because it's going to be FOREVER until we get there and I really needed it right now. I also really need the whole rest of season two, and the last third of season one, and significant portions of season three, but there is tragically no time for that at the moment.
