someone at chorus rehearsal tonight works at NASA and had a demo spacesuit in her car because she'd been taking it around to schools doing presentations. and she let me try it on!
omg I should have made shhhshshhh noises! Missed opportunity :(
It was very light, because tragically it wasn't a real spacesuit, I assume because those cost a billion dollars each? But it was kind of tricky to get into because you have to go in from the back and it's baggy yet not at all stretchy.
Someone said, "do the Apollo 13 pose, like you're just getting back from the moon!" So I made my best attempt, despite not remembering one second of that movie.
