I watched the first two Korra episodes! They were awesome and I am excited! But omg, when Katara said that her brother and most of her friends were dead, I started crying a little because HOW CAN THERE BE A WORLD WITHOUT SOKKA. Like, actual tears. IDEK, he's just my favorite character of everything, you guys.

I KNOW, that is the only sad part about Korra, that it has to take place so far in the future that the people we loved in the last series are gone. :(

ME TOO ME TOO. I wasn't even EXPECTING to, since I like Sokka but he is not my ~favorite~. But then thinking of Katara, the last of them all, without Sokka's meat and sarcasm... it's making me tear up again!

It did make me sad, ngl. Like, a world without SOKKA and TOPH and oh I guess Aang? I think they did the most graceful transition they could, by having Katara basically pass the torch, but it was very wibble-making. :(
