I should be over this show in about 48 hours
I worked out the necessary points of canon departure and the central emotional arc and the plot setup for the Kings fic I'll never be able to write but desperately wish existed! So...that passed some time. --or I could start writing it on my phone? Apparently this is the new way to trick my brain into not panicking? I didn't get very far before my wrists started hurting though. Tomorrow we'll see if I can manage actual typing.
(Basically I just cannot deal with a story about someone abused and damaged and constantly humiliated and used, who's been twisted into something horrible and toxic in order to survive, who finally starts to find something good in themselves, something actually worth the sacrifices for once--and then they weaken, and get used some more, until they're finally, brutally, broken. That is not a story I want to see, thanks anyway, I will substitute my own. Or I would if I could write it.)
