I checked on all the upcoming exhibitions about a month ago but somehow didn't notice this. RENAISSANCE ITALIAN DRAWINGS. That is only my favorite art ever in the entire world. This one probably won't top this one from two years ago since it's not entirely devoted to drawings, but I am if possible EVEN MORE EXCITED than I was that time, because now I remember how awesome it was.
(Okay, technically my favorite art ever is Italian drawing from the Renaissance to the eighteenth century. And lots of other periods/kinds of drawings, and also prints; when I make my pilgrimages to the Met I often go to the drawings and prints hall and just...stay there, for a couple hours, and then leave. Basically everything should be on paper, always. That would please me.)
