I love when I'm watching TV, and there's some plot setup that makes me think how amazing and potentially terrifying it would be if they actually ran with the doubtless-unintentional possibilities they're bringing into play...and then twenty minutes later I find myself staring at the screen saying, okay, that's a little--that's a little questionable. Some things I don't expect to see breaking the fanfic-canon barrier, is what I'm saying here. Also, Legend of the Seeker continues to be about sex and very little else.

This isn't really a criticism, either, because I LOVE that it's about SEX, ALL THE TIME, sex sex sex, all plot points both small and large center around SEX, even the ones that you really didn't think had any room for it. And somehow most of the stuff that should be offensive (though, uh, not all) gets transmuted into mysteriously adorable. I think it's just kind of refreshing that sex is actually explicitly the center of the story, like not just emotionally but as part of the actual plot, and they don't try to hide it. It's still all kinds of messed up, but it's different. *g*
