I felt very unable, yesterday and the day before, to deal with anything in the world that wasn't a fictional narrative, which is a state that comes upon me sometimes. Usually I rewatch stuff, but I had nothing to rewatch at the moment that wasn't going to turn into a huge Project, which...is really the last thing I need right now. So--well, first I reread the Embarrassing Manga of which I am fond, but that barely took up a day. Then I flipped through my massive backlog of Things To Watch looking for something new that was appealing, but couldn't possibly eat my life even if I got really into it and did nothing else for days but watch my way through it. (So--doesn't have a hundred episodes, doesn't have a massive fandom full of fic, probably doesn't have anything that will drive me absolutely mad with fanlove like a prickly but ultimately loving team of misfits. And so forth.)

In this way I finally, FINALLY got around to watching Legend of the Seeker. Or, well, starting to watch it; I've only seen five episodes so far, and I don't think I'm going to get obsessively fannish about it, but I just love WATCHING it, because it is AWESOME. (Also I skipped ahead a little to watch the one with the sexy torture, because I had heard tell of this and it did not disappoint. At all. I'm really, really looking forward to watching it again when it comes up in order.) There will probably be further updates as required. I'm given to understand that the femslash comes in season 2? Because I have heard tell of that as well, oh yes.
