LEOPARD PRINT

inbetweendays wanted to see me in my new leopard print clothing items, and I had one of my nice bras on last night anyway, so here it is for her and anyone else who's interested:










...I won't actually wear them together like that, I promise. Except possibly on Halloween. Here is one of the actual outfits I plan to actually wear:

Actually all my pictures are always shitty. They looked this bad when I had a proper camera, too. I have no idea what my problem is.

thank you! I do too. and I'm glad you like the hair, I'm still kind of uncertain about it. I'll feel better in a week when it's had time to get a bit more shaggy.

Right now, it's got that thing of "this is slightly too short ON PURPOSE, in a very designer-y way and because my bone structure is just that good."

In the first photo in particular, it works with your brow and cheekbone shapes in a really lovely way.

Oooooh, I like the put-together outfit! Like the cardigan and the skirt together. I am glad you won't wear clashing leopard print at the same time, though. :)

Do you mind me asking where you shop for clothes? I can never find anything good in my size. :(

Thank you! I am super digging the cardigan-leopard outfit myself (and you can't see it but that skirt is SO soft and silky, I just like petting it). I got all this stuff and some other things at Nordstrom, at my magical and totally free personal shopper session. It was the least painful shopping trip ever and I am so into them now. I mean, I can't guarantee they'll be able to find you stuff that fits and looks good, but I was really shocked at just how many outfits my stylist put together for me without much effort, that looked so great. I'm not used to anything really fitting.

(The other caveat of course being the price of the clothes themselves; it's definitely something I would do to get a wardrobe started and then not again for...a long time. But omg, sitting in a comfy dressing room while attractive, well-fitting clothes are set before you for you to pronounce judgment upon is THE ONLY WAY TO SHOP. *siiiigh* And free alterations! Okay, I'm done.)

that does sound like a fabulous experience (and definitely one that I've never had myself!). I've never tried Nordstrom, so I'll have to check it out sometime when I have some money and the opportunity. Thank you!

Thank you, I will try! I might run out of leopard print to buy EVENTUALLY, idk.

This is the blouse, and it was half off so it was only forty dollars--which seems like a lot to me, but I realize is not much by medium-classy department store standards, especially in plus size. Anyway, it only comes one size smaller than the one I have so probably too big for you? (It says mine is an 18-20, but I haven't had a size 18 top fit that loosely in like ten years.) You can just search for "tie blouse" on any department store site and various things like it will appear for you.

I...I am pretty sure they make tie blouses for skinnier people? (Yes! here you go. There are more. There are also a lot with sleeves.)
