fandom, what have you done to me

So I'm currently in the middle of training myself on Microsoft Office 2010, using the extremely handy tutorials my university offers online for students and alumni--they're basically like a version of a For Dummies book/CD that you click through, working on a Flash simulation of sample documents. The thing is, all these documents are "set" in the same fictional office, and now that I'm almost at the end of Beginning Word 2010 I've realized that the same names keep coming up, and sometimes they're attached to a bit of personality--Gina Ortiz leaves rather sharply critical comments on documents, and Ryan Brenner signs his business emails to female colleagues a little too warmly, and so on, and you see where this is going, don't you? I want fanfic about these people, and the telemarketing company they work for, and their boring, boring adventures and/or sex. I'm sure this is my brain's defense mechanism upon being confronted with too much tutorial, but it's still kind of unsettling.

(First choice of pairing: Gina/Kyra Weiss, whose suggested corrections to the strategic business plan Gina agreed with. You guys I am so bored.)

Ha, yes, I just did three units of an accounting program and I was shouting, "No! Jeff Jones isn't going to pay that account! He declared bankruptcy! Don't let him book up more tyres!"
