And then the power went out! And stayed out. Naturally I had forgotten to charge my phone up so it won't last more than half a day of Internet use. Mainly I just wish I had showered first; some of you may be familiar with how my shower is located in a deep pit of impenetrable darkness no matter what the time of day.
Upside: this was a fairly decent disaster rehearsal, in that I now know I can get downstairs and to the flashlights in near total darkness without killing myself. Or at least I can if it's juuuuust before dawn and the window on the stairs is letting in a tiny bit of light. Man, I really hope this gets fixed soon, it's going to be like 99 degrees today.
