new name!
This will also be a test of how all this is affecting the crossposter. I'm fairly confused on that point.
So, the new name doesn't have any deep significance, I've just been dying to rename my journal(s) for many, many years now and finally came up with something. It's from this poem, which I stumbled across in a gigantic anthology of world poetry from Gilgamesh to the present. It's a Hebrew poem from the 12th century by Abraham ibn Ezra, and it made me snort with delight:
Possibly the hilarity is less evident if you don't mentally read it in the voice of every fifty-something Jewish relative or family friend from New York (or sometimes Florida) that you have ever met. Because that's exactly what it sounds like, and it's NINE HUNDRED YEARS OLD. We haven't changed a bit!
So, it amuses me, it's not too super pretentious or stupid or fandom-specific, and it was available. And anything would be better than the previous option.

On the day I was born,
The unalterable stars altered.
If I decided to sell lamps,
It wouldn't get dark till the day I died.
Some stars. Whatever I do,
I'm a failure before I begin.
If I suddenly decided to sell shrouds,
People would suddenly stop dying.

Did you get any error messages when you were trying to crosspost to the old username, or did it just not work?

I've remembered that for years, but never knew who wrote the original. Thanks.

Quick question: what do I call you now? LC? S_S? Something else?

(No, actually, I managed to figure it out eventually, but still, this is very disorienting for me!)
