(no subject)

I was going to write tonight, I really really was, I was going to fix the big problem I realized last night I had created for myself (the problem other than I can never write ever, I mean), but a passing comment on some journal or other set me to catching up on more than a year of the Comics Curmudgeon, mostly Apt 3G strips, and now I'm having trouble finding fannish energy for anything other than wishing there was a thriving Margo femslash community. I even checked AO3, but no joy. It's almost enough to tempt me into doing Yuletide this year, despite knowing that would be a terrible idea, because what if someone wrote it for me, I would die of happiness.

!!!!! I did almost the exact same thing about a month ago! I think my crossover pairing of choice was Margo Magee/Marty Moon, because I have a thing for kickass women/loser alcoholic men (and also because it's fun to say), but of course Margo/all the ladies needs to happen like, right now.

Oh my god Margo and Marty Moon, OH MY GOD. That--they're made for each other.

Honestly I think I want a thousand fics where Margo crosses over into every fandom ever and abuses/hooks up with/rejects/exploits everyone. EVERYONE. But then I want her to come home to her emotionally stunted and incredibly sexually satisfying lesbian triad. Goddammit, I think I need a Margo icon.

INORITE? If the entire strip was nothing but Marty Moon failing at life/sobriety and being a petty loser...ngl, would read that strip every day.

I WILL TAKE THAT BLAME. Actually that might be what finally makes me unwrap and watch the S1 Community DVDs I bought lo these many moons ago. (I tend to snap up TV when it's on sale and then sort of forget I own it. There are like four other still-plastic-wrapped box sets I need to get around to one of these days, while DVD players are still being sold.)
