some_stars | (no subject)

Halfway through pulling clips for my Dilaudid remaster I suddenly decided I wanted to make a HAPPY vid, like, for once because I almost never have and the couple that I've done were fluffy happy, not clutch-your-heart-and-beam-tearily happy. So from among my vids already at least at the conceptual stage, I had two options, ATLA or Glee. And the Glee vid is almost fully scripted, which is how I've ended up catching up on the six episodes from after I gave up in disgust. And...well, first of all, that show continues to be FUCKING AWFUL, but second of all, they clearly have an intense personal interest in me finishing this Kurt vid because good GOD, that was some A++++ footage--almost as good as I could possibly hope for, and way more than I expected. Thanks, guys! I promise to finish this one before making the one about how incredibly racist you all are!

It's just so BOUNTIFUL. Hugging, dancing, performing, a LOT of performing--and his songs were so amazing too (with deliberate and appealing parallels to his season one performances, like they were putting THOUGHT into it or something, so bizarre). And he got to have lots of different emotions! I mean, you could just trip and fall and accidentally make a great vid out of this stuff, it's so useful. Plus they pandered enormously to my inexplicable wrong Kurt/Rachel love, so if I just pretend that nothing not involving him or Brittany has happened since March, it's almost like watching a really good show that makes me happy.
