the endless saga

of COURSE I roll over in my sleep. of course. and wake up with my shirt sticking to my back and my lovely new wound hurting. Everything looks fine aside from the ink imprint on the shirt which happily I didn't like anyway, but AUGH. I feel like a parent whose baby keeps rolling over onto its stomach, except instead of SIDS I'm afraid of disfigurement. I mean, I can't do anything about this! I was asleep, I always fall asleep on my stomach, I can't exactly not sleep.

If it helps, the tattoo usually only does that during the first 24 hours or so (and the ink should wash out of the shirt without any trouble), and the pain should pretty much fade away completely within 48 hours.

It should be fine. :)

I tend to roll around in my sleep as well, and I almost always end up on my back at some point in the night. It's never damaged any of the tattoos on my back. (And considering just how much of my back is covered in ink, that's saying a lot. :-P)
