went to the kitchen for a before-sleep granola bar, discovered that i had forgotten to wash a plate last night, discovered this via a wide array of horrible bugs crawling merrily about. naturally there is no bug spray in the apt, made do with generic windex which i hope doesn't hurt countertops sitting on them overnight because i cannot in any way deal with finishing that tonight. tomorrow morning everything on the drying rack will be thoroughly washed to remove ammonia, kitchen will be purged with a wave of cleansing fire.

leaving window cleaner on your countertops overnight shouldn't harm them. just remember to use lots of hot water to wash them with and resist the urge to bleach things. (ammonia + bleach = double plus un-good.)
