Okay guys. I'm in the Strand, being very disappointed in their sci-fi section, but they have a bunch of Pratchett and I've alway meant to read some Discworld. Where do I start? Only answers received in the next 10 minutes will be considered bc the a/c isn't workin in here and I cannot linger.

I require assistance from people who go see live music ever, which is more often than me. I'm going to this tonight, and I want to make sure I'm decoding all the information correctly.

1. It says on another page that 7 is the door time, so does that mean it'll actually (probably) start around 8? Or later? I'm by myself so I feel no need to spend any time leaning against a wall awkwardly drinking and waiting.

2. The "plus [band names]" mean those two groups come on first, right? I'm not super fussed about missing them.

Basically I just way overtired myself today, and there is no fucking way I can be there before 8:30 at the earliest. I already bought a ticket online so I don't need to worry about that. Unless...I do?

Ughhhh, I need to take it way easier tomorrow. I keep forgetting that walking is actually hard for me, and it is SO HOT. Also the subway is thwarting my every move on this trip--it kept me from entering the Book of Mormon lottery for today's matinee when it suddenly went express due to a mystery incident, and the line I use most will be shut down at 10 pm Sunday through Thursday next week. And there's some shit going on this weekend with it too that I'm STILL not sure what it is.
