(no subject)

Well, there was much tumult, but in the end it was a pretty charmed trip--I got upgraded to first class, which doesn't make a huge difference on a 3.5 hour flight but certainly was lovely, and now I am home in the apartment waiting for the A/C to cool things down. My parents let people stay here while they're away, and the last couple to do so left a worrisome smell in the bathroom and didn't wash the sheets, but it's still wonderful to have a proper home. There's Indian delivery on the way, and once the A/C kicks in I will make the bed with gross sheets soaked in the skin flakes of rude strangers, and hang up my nice dresses. And it will be an excellent two weeks.
