everything is not always awful
Jun. 1st, 2012 12:10 amIt is pretty nice--in retrospect--to be writing, and it sucks and I hate it and every few paragraphs I just add a [[THIS SUCKS FIX IT LATER]] and skip a few lines and keep going, and then I look up and oh hey what is this I wrote over a thousand words and at least 3/4 of them do NOT in fact suck. I am happy that I can do this.
--also I would like to once more sing the praises of Mum's Finally We Are No One as writing music. If you need to put something in your ears to keep your brain slightly distracted, but find words and complex instrumentals and loud rhythms more distracting than is wanted, most of Finally is PERFECT. I have a whole playlist of ambient stuff for writing but mostly I just listen to nine tracks from this album on a loop.
