I went to the doctor today about how I am ALWAYS TIRED and also cold. It made me hate America in multiple ways, although I quite like my doctor. And by "America" I mean "health insurance corporations, pharmaceutical corporations, and everyone who allows them to be that way." So basically, America.

Then I got some blood taken out of me while I recited my poem that I use to get through blood draws without freaking out, and soon I will hear back about 1.) if this problem is thyroid-related, and 2.) if my thyroid medication is about to get a lot more expensive (the name brand, as usual, has clinically significant differences from the generic with which it is freely substituted).

My doctor almost broke out into applause and cheering when I told her I've been exercising a lot (and have apparently lost six pounds, which was news to me), but she reacted the same way when I told her my periods are getting more regular, so I didn't mind.
