WHY CAN'T I EVER GET SMALL IDEAS

this is definitely going to be too long to write on the phone :( a brief character study to figure things out? a quick sex scene full of feelings and glossing over the plot? AHAHAA, HA, HA, no. A fucking epic. I cannot possibly succeed at this, it's like an alternate second season. I really hate my brain. I just wanted to write something.

--over a thousand words means it's actually a story. Now I can fail at it!

(I promise I won't post about this every day like with the last failed story. Because I know that's incredibly annoying and apparently it didn't work anyway.)

and then: the flood

I would really prefer that we not get paid back for a year of drought all at once, and I would even more prefer that it not flood my fucking car, but there is no arguing with the weather in this place. Apparently I actually can just stay in and write all day, since none of my errands are possible with the street turned into a river.

oh my god I think I just outlined a goddamned novel, in four parts taking place over a year, with four main characters. I'm trying not to give up on this, just plow ahead one page at a time, because it could be really good. It IS, so far. But jesus christ, that's a lot of pages to plow.

Anyway that is the END of boring writing whining for at least four days, I promise. Also uh, if anyone was interested in seeing this as I write it, no betaing needed, just an audience...that would be really helpful. Especially if you've seen the show, but either way.
