things that make me feel better, aside from the stuff in the creepy last (locked) post: TELEVISION. I finished re-downloading a decent quality torrent of Kings, and I'm four episodes in and it is totally doing it for me. Well, not most of the show, which I find boring and/or illogical and for the most part emotionally awkward and stilted, but of course Jack. Jack is doing it for me. It's not even remotely my queer narrative, but it is one, and I recognize it, and it gets me. I strongly suspect I'll end up offended at some point but for now I don't care. (Also of course there is the hotness factor. Sebastian Stan, GOD, just...play EVERY CHARACTER. All of them. Forever. Also if I could put my hands all over your body, just for a few hours, that would be great.)

Anyway all that said, of course I'm going to finish it, it's only thirteen episodes and I'm almost halfway through. Hopefully things will happen to improve my opinion, but this doesn't seem like the kind of shaky start a show can really recover from. But whatever, there's Jack and Rose and Thomasina, so I'm happy.

I AM SO GOOD AT DDR. AWW YIS. I went for twelve songs today instead of six because I was feeling really good (and blessedly ALONE in the house for once), and I got an A on a song that's been taunting me for a week and two more A's on songs I'd only done once before. Granted this is all on Light mode, but 1.) using that stupid plastic mat is harder than a proper arcade pad, even in socks, and 2.) SHUT UP I'M AWESOME. Does the music from DDR home games get released on albums? Because I would really love to put some of these on my general exercise playlist. I'm playing DDR Max 2 right now, it is amazing.

I'm still making my way through Kings, and I've realized I have a problem: now that Delicious is dead, I have no way to locate all the fic that didn't eventually get reposted to AO3. Well, I'm hoping for "all the," I will settle for any. I'm pretty good at searching this stuff out on LJ if I have someplace to start--any recs? Or even just links, whether recced or not?
