I'm working my way up to some baking--there's a lot of recipe-searching and comparing involved, and then I had to go shopping and it was all very complicated. But the baking aisle reminded me of one of the most awesome recipes that has ever been shared with me, and I should note that "awesome" in this context has both its ordinary colloquial meaning and also the meaning of "inspiring of awe," and by awe I mean terror. I got it from a friend in my first year of college who came from an extremely small town in south Texas and made it for cast parties--as in, she'd make one 8x8 pan of this for the entire party. Because it is terrifying...ly delicious. But also just scary.

It's not so much a recipe, really, except the frosting. More like assembly instructions. ( this is going to hurt your teeth )
