DELIGHTFUL

I have been dropped from all my courses! Now I need to ask each professor individually to go through some kind of rigamarole to readmit me. Also two of them are online courses and I've never even seen the professor. Also the apparent deadline for adding courses is Monday. Also I did not get breakfast. I AM KIND OF LOSING IT HERE.

--okay the worst POSSIBLE thing to do would be to go home right now and email the professors I was going to see instead of going to their class, with some flimsy excuse to accompany my plea. But I'm not sure if I can stay calm enough to be around people right now. The worst thing is that my usual mantra of "even if you can't fix it, it's not the end of the world" is not applicable because if I can't get back into ANY ONE of these courses, I can't graduate by the end of spring semester, and at that point I'm just going to choose suicide as the more dignified option. (NOT TODAY, DON'T WORRY.)



AND MY FUCKING BREAKFAST SNICKERS WAS SMUSHED BY THE MACHINE.

well, I WAS feeling fairly good about my ability to bounce back from total breakdown and get to work coping with this crisis, and then I got an email from one of the required courses (which, I remind you, I was ALREADY ENROLLED IN until this morning) telling me "sorry, i am way overfilled..." and, well. Yeah. So much for graduating! It was a pleasant dream.

I'm kind of too upset to freak out right now. That's sort of novel.

also did I mention that during my brief few hours of up-ness, I finally took the dying hard drive in to the shop and the very first thing they told me was, "you know we can't promise we'll be able to save any of this, right?"

YES. I KNOW. That's basically how I feel about my LIFE right now, actually.

Oh, and I went to the bakery for comfort food and got a pit in my cherry danish.
