I found a title! ...it's from a Mariah Carey song(I was eleven, it was one of four CDs I owned); I don't really know how to feel about that.
also, while revising the beginning of the story, I realized I had to cut out a tiny part that I liked, so I'm going to post it here, because I can:

I won't be satisfied with my Sanctuary fic oeuvre until I write Nikola/Will, though. It's a bit tricky but I know it's possible. And honestly I will also make Henry/Helen work somehow in a non-squicky way. I can do it, really.
My beta on Standard Operating Procedure cracked me the fuck up because she left me a random Helen/Kate comment during a team scene since I had told her previously I will eventually write Kate-dresses-in-lingerie-for-Helen-post-mission-victory-thing. because it would be HOT. and. yeah. I'm very fussy about getting these things right, though. I haven't felt compelled to write femslash before but for them, I want it, I want it so bad for them. I think I'm skittish about writing it because I want more of a reference point than what I get on the show but it's not there because the show is craptastic at passing the Bechtel test for all the awesomeness that is Helen and Kate seperately and together. but that's what fic is for, for shading in between the lines and working fannish mojo to some sweet lady orgasms and Kate snark.
