okay, so I was regretting not bringing Leliana along on this particular Deep Roads venture, because somehow I had forgotten that there are a SHIT TON of archers down there plus all the locked boxes, and then Zevran had a conversation with Alistair that made me forget ALL MY REGRETS about bringing him instead. The upshot of which was that Alistair should go into business as a prostitute whose specialty is that he resembles the king. (Alistair, after Zevran tells him about the Antivan royal bastard who did this: "Let me guess. You couldn't afford him.")

I seriously wish there was about 5000% more intra-team conversation in this game, it is by far the best part. Also wonderful: Sten trying to figure out what Leliana did at the Chantry; Morrigan making sardonic comments about the dwarves'...everything, Sten criticizing human childrearing practices, Leliana's constant random asides about her ridiculous past ("I rode a windmill once! It didn't turn out very well."), Wynne's total disgust with Zevran...I haven't had much chance to hear many Wynne conversations yet because I virtually always take Morrigan instead. I'm sure there are many gems I have yet to discover.

Also, my elf of whom I am very fond and about whom I want to write self-indulgent fic kissed Leliana! IT WAS AWESOME.
