more dragon age blathering! I had to let go of the dog, which saddens me GREATLY--but I wanted someone to do poison and lockpicking and most of all archery. time will tell if this was a wise decision. I think i'm getting a little better at the fighting although it's still far from my favorite part. mostly right now i'm paralyzed with indecision because i have like six quests and I DON'T KNOW WHICH TO DO. obviously it's the kind of game where you can't do them all but nonetheless i feel totally unable to choose. also, i really need an extra slot for party members because i want to invite the giant along, and he would no doubt be useful, but i don't want to get rid of leliana because i just got her, and i need a mage, and i CAN'T get rid of alistair because i would cry.

also the whole inventory setup continues to perplex me. about half the time when i try to use a potion or whatever, it works, and about half the time nothing happens. and i can't figure out how to make things. i suspect my replay (if i ever finish this one) will be a lot more satisfying. also also, do i ever get a chance to sell the eight million random items i've picked up?

also^3, i am so incredibly intimidated by the tactics screen.
