(no subject)
so in my exceeding hastiness to find a torrent of this, i seem to have given my netbook a trojan. WHOOPS. but i had to watch it first before running the anti-malware programs. AND I LIKED IT. i mean, i felt like the reveal was too hasty--they'd been drawing out the necklace thing soooooo slowly, and then suddenly GIANT INFODUMP--but it was so awesome to see Damon being sincere about something, and him and Stefan talking about Katherine was just PURE CANDY, and we got more Caroline development! I'm not crazy about the Caroline/Matt thing, but i won't complain as long as I get more Caroline.
i just, idk, i feel like they could have stretched out the first question of 'why is damon here' another couple episodes? or not combined it with Stefan dumping Elena, because now there will have to be two contrived reasons for both fo them to come back next time. but it was all so attractively done! i really want to vid the shot with damon sliding in and out behind the trees--SO PRETTY. i mean, assuming i ever get my computer back ever.
nu!jeremy bores me. jenna is pretty, but dull, but apparently necessary to bring new vampires into the story. what else--it was interesting to see the three girls together after all that's happened so far. it was hilarious to see stefan trying to get damon to talk, and how willingly damon played along with him--their imitations KILLED ME. and bonnie got to do some real acting, with range and everything! i was extremely impressed with her post-being-bitten face.
