SHIT Y'ALL I LOVE THIS SHOW. i am also angry at it for killing the most wonderful guest character ever, because she had POTENTIAL, and they could have let her live a little longer before offing her for the drama--plus all this lady-killing makes me very wary of what might happen to Caroline, whom I BLAZINGLY ADORE, even more so after this episode. i don't know, i just latched onto her straight off in the pilot and i've been in love with her ever since.
but. yes. love! and this episode was just OVERFLOWING with sex, which entertained me. the ridiculously thick subtext of the feather-floating scene, and lexi and stefan discussing the magic of vampire sex, and the phallic brothercest stabbing sex, and poor caroline--I hope that wasn't incipient shipping they were going for with Matt but just general good-guy-ness, because if it was supposed to be romantic it fell totally flat--basically this is the show of everybody boning, all the time, and i appreciate that.
also! VISUALLY, SO BEAUTIFUL. i can't wait to vid this show, i really can't--the shots with the feathers! so spectacular!
i need an icon. any ideas on sources? :D?
oh hey is there a newsletter, or people writing fic, or anything? because i would really go for some fic, or even just other people talking about it. i think this may be my new fandom, and man did i ever need one.
