oh this is totally brilliant. the student center 'satellite' aka the one near all my classes is underground and has no wireless reception. CLEVER GUYS. VERY HELPFUL. NOT THAT I WANTED TO GET SOME SHIT DONE OR NOTHING.
been to one class so far, already fucked up once academically once socially. suncscreen is slowly dripping off my face. wearing the wrong shoes. god only knows what will have happened by the time i actually get a chance to post this.
it's 10:14 am. next class at 2:30. perhaps i will go to the library(or rather TO THE LIBRARY!!!!!! since me and my mom watched that episode of avatar last night).
OKAY UPDATE. i ended up spending too much on lunch due to my usual pattern of making a hasty plan, spending money on it, realizing it sucks, making another hasty plan, spending money on that, and ending up less satisfied than if i'd spent a minute actually thinking of a good plan(see also: 50% of my time spent alone in NYC). however it was not too bad and i am now 1.) more acquainted with the campus and 2.) in the library lounge charging and using the wireless. so, okay.
PEE ESS i am a little sensitive about that last entry so, um, if nobody wants to comment on it i'm probably going to lock it. and never let my flist persuade me to post anything that makes me look stupid again /o\ this is not blackmail since, you know, if you don't want to comment on it presumably you won't care that i lock it. I FEEL A LITTLE INSECURE TODAY IS ALL OKAY. okay.
