i appear to be having withdrawal AGAIN. despite tapering off this time. i fucking give up, seriously. why does this shit always get suddenly massively abruptly worse right before the weekend?
also stabbing pain in neck, shoulders, and arms, and i genuinely cannot tell WHAT the fuck is going on with my stomach. TODAY IS THE BEST DAY. i would like to go one (1) month without my body trying to destroy itself in any way, but that is apparently a little too much to ask.
i may attempt to use this opportunity to write (assuming i guess right about my stomach and eating is what it wants; if i'm wrong the rest of the day is probably forfeit). i have a couple reboot trek ideas that have been biting my ankles, if i can find a way physically to write them that doesn't make my arms hurt. i want to take a long hot bath but i have to clean the tub first which is just...not encouraging. i'd just sleep through today if i didn't know from experience that it makes me feel worse.
last edit i swear: i spent all night watching the first 2 discs of DS9, since lying-on-the-couch pain was excitingly new and different from sitting-at-the-computer pain. they were cheesy the way that the first season of TV always used to be before networks got into the habit of canceling anything that didn't top the ratings after two weeks, and they were delightful. i can see the seed of an actually awesome sci-fi show already.
