well, it's been thirteen years and Grosse Point Blank is still one of the best fucking movies I've ever seen. they should teach that shit in schools. possibly they do! and it comes in at only 99 minutes, which--god, I wish people would remember how to EDIT their movies these days. anyway the main message is HOORAY FOR DOWNLOADING SHIT OFF THE INTERNET, and hooray for vaguely remembered things being exactly as brilliant and awesome as I vaguely remembered.
working on those meme prompt question things! they are seriously adorable, you guys, you have no idea how ridiculously cute some of this shit is. also getting perilously close to finishing draft one of the Elle vid--for real this time, i deleted most of the previous go and started over and did it (i hope to god) right this time. so of course i am being DELUGED with exciting new ideas for other vids, but i will finish this first. I WILL. also i have a very intriguing CM fic idea if i can get myself to write it. we shall see.
i have been watching some other movies, not quite as brilliant(to say the least), and developing terrible sleep habits. what is this horrible natural predilection my body seems to have for falling asleep at dawn? because i don't like it :(
GOD THAT WAS A GOOD MOVIE. seriously, did it win anything? I hope they use it as an example in screenwriting classes, because it is just. PRIZE MATERIAL.
somewhat more relevant to the real world, although NOT BY MUCH, i have been craving all day to go reread my novels and short stories about world-ending pandemics, but mostly they're scattered through various best-of-year SF anthologies and i cannot be bothered digging them all up. and apparently no one has ever published an anthology of epidemic/plague-related SF stories, which BAFFLES me.
