goddaaaaaaaaaamn, CM. WAY TO BRING IT. i mean, idk if i LIKED everything, but they certainly went for the...something. anyway how could i not love it because INCEST PROM and LOVE MAPS, AS EXPLAINED BY REID OF ALL PEOPLE, and GARCIA, and the last scene which makes me simultaneously go D'AWWWWWW and want to start writing more of my neglected hotch/garcia fic. YEAH IDEK YOU GUYS.
anyway basically: LOL INCEST. also the dude playing the doctor is one of Those Guys who i totes recognize from like a million other shows. i love when that happens. ALSO, some interesting character/situational continuity with 'Elephant's Memory' and the way they all react to things--hotch still tries to reprimand garcia when she's all "NO EVIDENCE IHU ALL" but then when she really brings it he stops and lets her say it all, and REID'S reaction, god DAMN. flat out blaming the town including the two people in the room who have PERSONALLY LOST PEOPLE to the arsonist, and hotch doesn't reprimand him and in fact seems to kind of agree. so that's...different. and fascinating.
also i so so so so want a JJ-centric tag to this episode. she seemed so BITTER, and quite right, but i want to hear more about that!
also GARCIA OMG. have i mentioned my mad insane love for her recently? BECAUSE I HAVE IT. OODLES.
also also this is a serious definite pattern with Hotch and fire-related stuff. i mean, it's spread over 4 seasons so knowing this show it's probably unintentional and will never be actually mentioned? BUT IT IS THERE.
