1. my Spore has arrived! are there cheat codes yet? I only loved Sims because of the cheat codes, and from what I hear about the INSANE SUDDEN IMPOSSIBILITY of the space level, I'm gonna need me some cheat codes.
2. so the hurricane has turned north! exciting! ...uh, don't be too worried, we are an hour inland and unless the thing is cat 5 when it hits land it's not gonna get too bad. Rita only knocked out our cable for a few days. still i will see if there is any water left to grab when i go shopping today, and try and check in by phonepost if our internets get broke. i'm pretty worried about galveston though, as they are basically the geological windbreaker for that whole section of coast. also dammit, after calling in yesterday i really could have used the hours tomorrow but i think everything nonessential is shutting down. WEATHER >:(
