I came across this at VidUKon a couple of years back, and was completely mesmerized by both the source and the emotional punch the vid was packing. It took me a whole year to figure out which vid it was (a combination of total vid overload at vidding cons and my conviction that The Donald Strachey Mysteries must be some starchy Agatha Cristie cop-off crime show - *face-palm*), but it's on my rec list now. Also watched the movies, just so sad that there don't seem to be any more planned.
