Okay, Avengers fandom, I'm making a rule. The rule is this: no misspelling SHIELD. Especially if you use it every other paragraph due to the plot setup you've chosen. It is hurting both my eyes and my brain, and while I know it's a deliberately nonsensical acronym whose component words don't actually make sense, there is also the fact that I before E. Please. My mind keeps trying to pronounce it like German.
