I am super enjoying Legend of Korra, y'all! It's amazing, and gorgeous, and I have very high hopes for it that involve actual trust, which is something I haven't felt about a TV show in a long time. The one and only thing that saddens me about it is that Mako and Bolin are brothers rather than unrelated orphans who found each other on the street and became pseudosiblings/BFFs. Because then there could be one of the M/F/M threesomes that are so deeply beloved to me, and it could even be M/M + F for once, which never happens. Plus Korra deserves two boyfriends and I want to read a million fanfics where she gets them and is bad at relationships but somehow it works out anyway. For some reason, my fandom-induced "incest, whatever" attitude is not working for me here, possibly because they are adorable cartoons for children? Or possibly because they actually seem like brothers rather than just really intensely close dudes. Either way, it is very tragic. I still want Korra to date them both though.
