I have discovered a major flaw in Dragon Age: you can't watch through the endless, endless animation and cutscenes that come right before the final battle, then save and go to bed. No. You have to watch the scenes all the way through if you want to start the final battle. At least, so far as I can tell. THAT IS JUST CRUEL. Especially since it's a pretty gross set of cutscenes and a pretty crappy pre-battle speech, at least until the end. Also, I don't like that you have to do it alone. I learned how to fight with a party! That's what I know how to do! I'm no good without a mage covering my back :( Honestly I've disliked every single go-it-alone part of the game so far. The whole fun in fighting is figuring out strategies for how best to use a team.

THINGS TO DO NEXT TIME: cheat less, learn how to Stealth and Steal, focus everybody on one set of talents early on and do not diverge and waste points, have non-creepy-demon-impregnation sex with Morrigan (although what is with that strapless push-up bra), figure out more about potions and poisons, learn to do traps, do more side quests. Also, be a dwarf lady.
